Our Mission and Legacy
As word weavers, the West Virginia Storytelling Guild is dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich tradition of oral storytelling. Our mission is to safeguard the art, history, and folklore of storytelling, ensuring that these cherished narratives continue to inspire and educate future generations. Through workshops, performances, and community events, we celebrate the diverse voices and stories that define our cultural heritage.

“The West Virginia Storytelling Guild (WVSG) is our own curated collection of gifted entertainers. Each performer we’ve used offers wit, heart and authentic magic in their programs.
